INTERVIEW - Panel Bound speaks with Patrick PurcellA few weeks ago I got the opportunity to review three issues of the self published indie comic, Winter City. My review of Winter City is up at GeeksofDoom.com right now, so you can check it out here. In the review I point out that Winter City shares many similarities with the gritty, violence crazed comics of the 90′s. Looking at the hooded figure of death that stalks the pages of Winter City, I was instantly reminded of books like Spawn and all of its many spin-offs. Luckily, in conjunction with the review, I got a chance to speak with the comic’s lead scribe, Patrick Purcell in an effort to promote the indie title.
INTERVIEW - Bleeding Cool speaks with Patrick PurcellAfter two read-throughs of the three issues released to date, I want to see more. If you like an engaging story with multiple threads, family angst, hardened cops and the odd violent death, then Winter City delivers that nicely. There’s plenty more of this series to come – we had an email chat with creator Patrick Purcell on the series:
